Folkus Fans!
This Friday, February 15, at 8 o'clock, ROD MacDONALD performs at May
Memorial.
Throughout an international music career lasting almost three
decades, Rod MacDonald has remained a vital force in the folk music
world. His eclectic brand of music transcends the typical folk genre,
evident in lyrics that are infectious, inspiring, sometimes reckless,
often evocative, and always compelling. In his trademark balladeer
style, MacDonald artfully weaves together a tapestry of
journalistically insightful lyrics and poetic imagery. His engaging
delivery, musical versatility, timeless ballads, and modern folk
songs place him in the elite of singer-songwriters.

VOLUNTEER LEADER NEEDED!
Community Relations and Partnerships
The Folkus Project is looking for a Volunteer Leader to help
establish and maintain relationships with other organizations in the
region that might benefit from or share an interest in Folkus
programming. Folkus is attempting to create cross-programming and
cross-promotion opportunities with arts organizations, schools,
churches, and any other cultural or educational groups that might
wish to partner with Folkus in such efforts. The ideal volunteer will
have an entrepreneurial spirit in identifying such opportunities, and
an ease with contacting such organizations and establishing a
relationship. If you think you might be interested, e-mail
volunteer at folkus.org. Thanks. Volunteering with Folkus is a
rewarding, life-altering experience (plus you get into the concerts
for free!).
