ABOUT THE SONGWRITERS
Ashley Cox is a multi-dimensional performer, singer, and songwriter
who has been composing innovative and wide-ranging material since the
mid-'90s. In 1997 she won the Syracuse Area Music Award (Sammy) for
Best New Artist. Her unique sound has led her to perform with the
likes of MeShell Ndegeocello and the Fun Lovin Criminals, while
sharing production time with Russ Titleman, who produced Eric
Clapton's Grammy-winning Unplugged CD. Ashley's latest album,
released on her own Receptive Records label, is Honey by the Pound.

Lisa Romano is a songwriter, an award-winning vocalist, and a 2006
Syracuse Music Award (Sammy) nominee. She has performed in countless
musicals and plays for the Talent Company of Syracuse. Romano has
been singing and writing songs with Ashley Cox since 2000, and she
has performed her haunting, introspective piano ballads to audiences
from Central New York to New York City and Nashville. http://www.lisa-

Tim Burns' music draws upon influences ranging from rock and roll,
blues, folk, and country to bluegrass. His songwriting has been
described as truthful, inspiring, and refreshing. He performs
regularly around upstate New York with his band Two Hour Delay. The
band is focused on developing original music to capture the
listener...a couple of hours at a time. http://www.myspace.com/2hrdelay

Bob Early has been writing songs since he was a college student in
his native Missouri. His lyrical and musical influences range from
Peter Gabriel to Willie Nelson to Bob Dylan. Bob most recently
performed as a guitarist with the Terry Mostyn Band at the North
Country Goes Green Irish Festival in Watertown, New York. http://

Host Jeffrey Pepper Rodgers is a singer-songwriter, author, and
contributor to NPR's All Things Considered. Music journalist Andy
Ellis (Guitar Player, Frets) calls Rodgers' brand-new solo CD,
Humming My Way Back Home, "folk music with a serrated edge...a
magical blend of storytelling and driving flattop guitar." http://
