[Folkus Project] Advance Tickets: DAVID WILCOX / RED MOLLY

TICKET ALERT . . .

The Folkus Project will end its 2010-2011 with not one, but two special shows — stars of the contemporary folk circuit whom we'd been trying to bring to Syracuse for a good long time. DAVID WILCOX is a singer-songwriter with soul-melting vocals and one of the most innovative, distinctive guitar styles in the business.  RED MOLLY is three young women who combine Americana-tinged arrangements with a mixture of original and traditional material (and some great harmonies and musicianship to boot).

For these two shows, ADVANCE TICKETS ARE ON SALE NOW.  As with the recent Dar Williams concert, tickets are being made available online, via PayPal. If you previously attempted to reserve tickets for either David Wilcox or Red Molly, you need to instead purchase advance tickets to guarantee your seat.)

Also, we'd like your opinion on advance ticket sales. Thus far, our experiment with PayPal sales has been largely positive.  Folkus is considering making advance tickets available for ALL shows next season (beginning in September), with the advantage that you could use credit/PayPal for all ticket purchases.  (Pre-show, non-paid reservations would disappear.)
